Welcome to my website! I am entering my fifth year of teaching and can't be more excited. This year will be my first teaching second grade and I am up for the challenge! I have taught at Millbrook since I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2005.
That same year I also married the love of my life! We were college sweet hearts and were married the summer we graduated from college. We move to Raleigh away from all our family which live in Charlotte. We bought our first home a year later and adopted a frisky boxer mix named Stella.
In June of 2009 we welcomed our first son name Tillman! He has added so much excitment to our lives. He just turned one and the past year went by fast! He is begining to walk and talk and I am sad he is no longer my little baby!
When I am not teaching or taking care of my family I love to read by the pool. I also have a passion for travel and hope to take Tillman to all the amazing places out side of Raleigh!
